"VFPMS Clinical Leaders" is an e-mail network for individuals who have been designated as Clinical Leaders under the Vulnerable Babies, Children and Young People at Risk of Harm: Best Practice Framework for Acute Health Services.

What is the purpose of "VFPMS Clinical Leaders"?

To provide an efficient communication system to share information related to service provision that is Victorian specific.

This may include information on:

• policies and guidelines
• services and programs
• service development
• practice standards, monitoring and evaluation
• networking
• case discussion, advice and consultation
• education and training materials
• research
• resources
• equipment
• professional education opportunities in Victoria

Who can join "VFPMS Clinical Leaders"?

Any individual who has been appointed within their Acute Health service to act as the designated Clinical Leader for their organisation.
Other individuals as recommended by Clinical Leaders.

Victorian Forensic Paediatric Medical Services staff members and doctors who provide clinical services within the VFPMS network, with support from their Acute Health service.

Membership to the group is moderated. This means that while people can subscribe themselves, their actual membership is subject to approval by the group's administrator. This is to ensure the privacy of discussions - those outside the group (such as the general public) cannot access them.
